Schema Markup

Structured data added to a web page (usually JSON-LD from schema.org) that tells search engines exactly what the page is about.

In detail

Schema describes things such as an organization, a local business, a product, an article or a list of FAQs in a format machines read without guessing. Google uses it for rich results, and it helps AI tools understand the facts about a business.

Common types for a company website are Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Article and BreadcrumbList.
