VAT, corporate tax, e-invoicing and data rules

UAE VAT is 5%, administered by the Federal Tax Authority, so invoices carry your TRN, VAT on each line and AED totals to two decimals, with period reports your accountant can use for the FTA return. Corporate tax at 9% applies for financial years starting from June 2023, which makes clean revenue and cost records by entity more important than before. A national e-invoicing programme is being phased in from 2026, so we keep invoice data structured and ready to connect to whichever e-invoicing route applies to your business.

Personal data is handled with the Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, in mind. Companies in DIFC and ADGM work under those centres' own data protection laws, and we design consent, retention and access logging to suit whichever regime your company falls under. Where you want data kept in the country, we deploy to cloud regions located in the UAE.

A Dubai office and a remote delivery team

Our Dubai office is at Abu Saif Business Center in Al Kazim Building, Al Qiyadah, which makes in-person discovery workshops, demos and handover sessions straightforward for clients in Dubai and the neighbouring emirates. Design, engineering and QA are done by our remote delivery team, and the whole Monday to Friday working day is shared.

Every project has a named lead engineer and a QA engineer from the first sprint. Code, cloud accounts, app store listings and domains are registered to your company, not to us, so you keep full control of what you paid for whether or not we continue to support it.
