Receipts and reports built around 5% VAT
A VAT-registered business in the UAE needs receipts that show its TRN, the VAT charged and the total in AED. Our POS calculates VAT per line, handles prices entered inclusive or exclusive of tax, and issues credit notes for returns that point back to the original sale. Z reports and period summaries give your accountant the figures for the FTA return, and sales are kept as structured data so the system is ready for the e-invoicing programme being phased in from 2026 where it applies to you.
Card terminals, Apple Pay and fast lunch queues
UAE customers pay mostly by card and phone, and lunchtime queues in business districts leave no time for typing amounts twice. The POS sends the amount to integrated card terminals where your acquirer offers an integration, records Apple Pay, card and cash separately, and handles split bills and tips. At shift close, recorded totals by payment method are compared with the terminal settlement and the cash count, and differences are flagged before the drawer is signed off.
Restaurants, retail and several emirates on one back office
Restaurant mode covers table plans, modifiers, kitchen display screens and delivery aggregator orders in the same queue as counter sales. Retail mode handles barcodes, weighed goods, gift cards and loyalty points. A group with outlets in a Dubai mall, an Abu Dhabi community centre and a Sharjah high street runs them from one back office with shared menus, stock and suppliers, while each branch keeps its own printers and kitchen screens.
Stock transfers between branches, reorder points and purchase orders keep shelves filled without daily phone calls, and the POS syncs with Shopify, WooCommerce or a custom web store. The till keeps selling through internet outages and syncs when the connection returns.
