Shipments that pass through the UAE to other markets
The UAE is a re-export hub: goods arrive at Jebel Ali, Khalifa Port or the airports, sit in a free zone or mainland warehouse, and leave again by sea, air or truck to the rest of the GCC, Africa and South Asia. One shipment can involve a shipping line, a warehouse, a customs broker and several onward carriers. We build software that keeps every leg, document and charge under one shipment reference, so your team stops reconciling the same job across email threads and spreadsheets.
Customs work stays with your broker and the official systems they use; our software does not submit declarations. It holds the document checklist for each shipment type, records what the broker has received and when, and keeps scans searchable by bill of lading, air waybill or container number.
Last-mile delivery and cash on delivery
Last-mile delivery in the UAE means dense routes, customers who give a location pin rather than a street address, and a lot of cash on delivery. Dispatchers assign and reorder stops during the day and see which are running late. The driver app works in Arabic and English, opens each stop in the driver's maps app, and records proof of delivery as a signature, photos and a time and GPS stamp. Cash, card and payment-link collections are recorded per stop, and each driver closes the shift with a settlement sheet in AED.
Warehouse stock, carrier links and VAT invoicing
In the warehouse, goods are received against the expected shipment, put away to bin locations and picked with handheld scanners. For 3PLs, stock is held by owner, lot and expiry, so one client's goods never mix with another's, and storage is billed by pallet, bin or cubic metre. Where your process separates free zone stock from mainland stock, the system does too.
Where carriers and marketplaces offer APIs and your account has access, orders, shipment creation and tracking status flow automatically; otherwise scheduled file imports fill the gap. Freight, handling and storage charges become invoices with your TRN and 5% VAT where it applies, and consignee details are handled as personal data under the PDPL.
