Software for carriers, brokers and 3PLs
Logistics software development for US freight and delivery companies
We build the software freight and delivery companies run on when off-the-shelf tools stop fitting: custom TMS modules, dispatch boards, driver apps and the EDI and API integrations that connect them to shippers and partners.
Custom TMS and dispatch built around your lanes
Many carriers and brokers outgrow their TMS in the same places: rating rules that do not fit their contracts, dispatch screens that hide the information planners need, and settlements that finish in a spreadsheet. We build custom TMS modules or a full system covering load entry, rating, carrier assignment, dispatch, tracking, proof of delivery, invoicing and driver or carrier settlements.
Where you want to keep your current TMS, we build around it through its API, adding the screens and automations it lacks without replacing the system your accounting depends on. Typical additions are a planner board that shows loads, drivers and trailers together, automatic check calls from tracking data, and exception alerts for loads running late against their appointment.
EDI and API integration with shippers and partners
Shippers still send most freight through EDI. We implement the X12 transactions carriers and brokers use most: 204 load tenders, 990 responses, 214 shipment status messages and 210 freight invoices, either directly over AS2 or SFTP or through your EDI provider. Each message is validated, logged and matched to the load it belongs to, with alerts when a partner sends something unexpected.
For newer partners we connect over REST APIs and webhooks, and link your system to load boards, telematics providers, QuickBooks or NetSuite for accounting, and WMS platforms for warehouse handoffs. Each connection has its own dashboard showing messages sent, received and failed, so your operations team can see a broken integration before a shipper calls about a missing status update.
Last-mile delivery and customer visibility
Last-mile operations need route planning, a driver app that works offline, and proof of delivery with photos, signatures and GPS timestamps. Customers expect a tracking link and SMS updates rather than a phone call. We build these as a web control room plus Flutter or React Native driver apps, often starting from our own fleet tracking platform.

Built for the market
What US logistics operators need from a software partner
- X12 EDI experience, not just REST APIs
- Hours-of-service and location data pulled from your ELD provider's API
- QuickBooks, NetSuite or your ERP updated from settlements and invoices
- Support windows that cover late dispatch hours in Central and Pacific time
- Code and data in your own cloud account
- Time zone
- US Eastern time is nine to ten hours behind Lahore. A fixed overlap window in your morning is agreed at the start of the project, and the rest of the work happens overnight for you, so each day starts with progress to review.
- Payments we integrate
- Stripe, PayPal, Square, Authorize.Net, ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay
- Tax and data
- Built for US sales tax through providers such as Stripe Tax, Avalara or TaxJar. Personal data handled in line with the CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws.
- Language
- English.
Questions
Logistics software development: common questions
Buy one if your operation fits a standard product and the gaps are small. Build custom modules when rating, dispatch or settlement rules are where you compete and the product keeps forcing workarounds. We often recommend a mix: keep the TMS for core records and build the parts that differentiate you.
