B2B SaaS, from first customer to enterprise
SaaS development for US startups and B2B software companies
We build and extend B2B SaaS products for US founders and product teams: the tenant model, billing, single sign-on, audit logs and onboarding flows that decide whether larger customers can buy.
An MVP that survives the first enterprise deal
SaaS MVPs fail in two ways: they take too long to reach the first paying customer, or they reach it on foundations that collapse at the tenth. We keep the feature set narrow but get the structure right from week one: an organization and user model, tenant identifiers on every table, role checks on the server and an environment setup your future hires will recognize.
Typical MVP stacks are Next.js or React on the front end, Node.js or Python with PostgreSQL behind it, and hosting in your own AWS, Google Cloud or Vercel account. We pick well-documented, widely used tools on purpose, because your next engineers should spend their time on your product rather than learning an unusual framework someone chose for a demo.
Multi-tenancy, billing and the admin side of SaaS
Tenant isolation is designed, not bolted on. Depending on your customers we use a shared schema with row-level security in PostgreSQL, a schema per tenant, or separate databases for customers who need them, and we write tests that try to read one tenant's data with another tenant's token. Per-tenant settings, feature flags and plan limits live in one place instead of scattered conditionals.
Billing runs on Stripe Billing: free trials, seat-based or usage-based plans, proration on upgrades, invoices, dunning for failed cards and a customer portal for self-service changes. Webhooks update entitlements in your app, so a downgrade actually removes access. An internal admin console lets support staff find an account, impersonate a user with logging and fix problems without a database query.
Enterprise readiness: SSO, SAML, audit logs and onboarding
Larger customers ask the same questions in every security review. We implement SAML and OIDC single sign-on with Okta, Microsoft Entra ID and Google Workspace, SCIM provisioning, enforced SSO per organization, and audit logs that record who did what, when and from where, exportable for the customer's own review. Your SOC 2 program then has product controls it can point to.
Onboarding gets the same attention, because a trial that never reaches its first useful moment never converts. We build guided setup, sample data, teammate invitations, in-app checklists and product analytics events, so you can see where new accounts stall and change the flow based on evidence rather than guesses made in a planning meeting.

Built for the market
What US SaaS founders need from an engineering partner
- Engineers who understand plans, entitlements and recurring revenue, not just CRUD screens
- Security questionnaire answers backed by features that exist in the product
- Infrastructure in your own cloud account, ready for a later SOC 2 audit
- Sales tax on subscriptions handled through Stripe Tax where it applies
- A team that grows from MVP to a steady product squad without a vendor change
- Time zone
- US Eastern time is nine to ten hours behind Lahore. A fixed overlap window in your morning is agreed at the start of the project, and the rest of the work happens overnight for you, so each day starts with progress to review.
- Payments we integrate
- Stripe, PayPal, Square, Authorize.Net, ACH bank transfers, Apple Pay
- Tax and data
- Built for US sales tax through providers such as Stripe Tax, Avalara or TaxJar. Personal data handled in line with the CCPA/CPRA and other US state privacy laws.
- Language
- English.
Questions
SaaS development: common questions
A focused B2B SaaS MVP usually fits in six to twelve weeks of build after a short discovery, depending on integrations and how many decisions are already made. We fix the scope in writing, release to staging every sprint and keep a list of deferred features, so nothing agreed is quietly dropped.
