Software for US healthcare

Healthcare software development for US providers and healthtech

We build patient portals, telehealth scheduling, practice management tools and FHIR integrations for US clinics and healthtech companies, built for HIPAA compliance and delivered inside your compliance program under a signed BAA.

Integrating with EHRs through FHIR and HL7

Most healthcare products need data from an EHR. We build integrations using FHIR R4 APIs and SMART on FHIR app launch, which are the routes Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner) and other EHR vendors expose to third-party developers, subject to their own app review and access programs. For older systems and hospital interfaces we handle HL7 v2 messages such as ADT, ORM and ORU through an interface engine.

Integration work includes patient matching rules, mapping codes such as ICD-10, CPT and LOINC, and deciding what is written back to the chart versus kept in your own system, all documented for your clinical and compliance teams. We test against vendor sandboxes and synthetic patients first, so production access is requested only once the integration behaves correctly.

Patient portals, telehealth scheduling and practice tools

Patient-facing software has to be simple for someone who is unwell or anxious. We build portals and apps for booking, intake forms, insurance card capture, secure messaging, visit summaries and bill payment, and telehealth scheduling that manages provider availability across locations and states, sends reminders and links into a video service covered by a BAA.

Practice management tools cover scheduling, eligibility checks through a clearinghouse, charge capture and reporting on no-shows, provider utilization and outstanding balances. Our ready-made Hospital Management System can serve as a starting point where a clinic needs many of these modules at once, adapted to US coding, payer workflows and the safeguards your HIPAA program sets.

Built for HIPAA compliance, without overstating it

HIPAA compliance belongs to your organization, and no vendor can hand it to you with a badge. We sign a BAA, work inside your HIPAA program and build the technical safeguards it relies on: role-based access, audit logs of every PHI view and change, encryption in transit and at rest, automatic session timeouts, and hosting only on cloud services your provider covers under its BAA.

Questions

Healthcare software development: common questions

Yes. We sign a BAA before our team touches any PHI, and we limit access to named engineers who need it. In most projects we work with synthetic or de-identified data in development and testing, so PHI stays in the environments your compliance team controls.
