The system enforces it: cars can be flagged as eligible for cross-border use, contracts can require an extra insurance add-on and a signed authorisation letter, and the counter cannot release the car until every document your policy lists is uploaded.
Extra charges and higher deposits for these trips apply automatically, and a GPS geofence can alert you when a car that is not cleared for cross-border use approaches the causeway. Every cross-border contract keeps its documents together, so if an insurer or the customer later asks what was agreed, the answer is one click away.
Deposits, fines and VAT without spreadsheets
Deposits can be taken by BenefitPay, by card pre-authorisation where your gateway supports it, or in cash, and each release or deduction is recorded against the contract. Traffic fines and damage costs are matched to the right contract by date and time, then billed with your admin fee rules. Invoices show 10% VAT, amounts are held to three decimals in BHD, and period reports are ready for your accountant.
