Vehicle tracking for Qatari fleets
Fleet management software and GPS tracking in Qatar
Our GPS fleet management system shows where every van, pickup, bus and truck in your Qatari fleet is, who is driving it, which site it reached and what it costs to run.
Short trips, many sites: tracking a Qatari fleet
Most Qatari fleets do not drive long distances. A facilities contractor's pickups make a dozen short trips a day between towers in West Bay, villas in Al Rayyan and a yard in the Industrial Area. A construction firm moves crews and materials between projects in Lusail and Al Wakrah. The useful question is rarely where a vehicle is on a highway, but which site it reached, when, and for how long.
We draw geofences around each project, client building, yard and staff accommodation, then report arrivals, departures and time on site per vehicle. Supervisors are alerted by app, SMS, email or WhatsApp when a vehicle moves outside working hours, sits with its engine running in the summer heat, or leaves a zone it should stay in. Route replay settles questions about attendance or late arrival with a timestamped record.
Pool cars, staff buses and who was driving
Many companies in Qatar share vehicles between drivers and shifts, which makes fines, damage and fuel hard to assign. Driver identification by RFID card, iButton or the driver app links every trip to a named person. Scores for speeding, harsh braking, acceleration and cornering then belong to the right driver, and licence expiry dates sit in the same profile so nobody keeps driving on a lapsed licence.
Staff transport buses make up a large part of many Qatari fleets. Each bus can be followed against its planned pickup points, with alerts when it runs late or skips a stop, and the manager app shows the whole morning run on one screen. Door sensors and dashcams can be added where you want a record of when passengers boarded and how the bus was driven.
Fuel, maintenance and cost per contract
Facilities and contracting firms in Doha often need to know what each client contract costs in vehicle time. The system records mileage, engine hours and time on site for every vehicle, then allocates them to the contract or project it served. Fuel level sensors flag drains and unexpected refuels, fuel card data can be imported for comparison, and workshop work orders add parts and labour to the same cost record.
The platform runs on Teltonika, Queclink, Concox, Ruptela and other common trackers, so existing devices can usually stay in place. Data is hosted in our cloud, in your own cloud account or on your servers, and driver location history is treated as personal data under Law No. 13 of 2016, with role-based access and agreed retention. A REST API and webhooks share trips and costs with your ERP.

Questions
Fleet management software: common questions
Yes. Each site is drawn as a geofence, and the system logs every arrival and departure with the vehicle and driver. Time-on-site reports can be filtered by client, contract or date range and emailed on a schedule, which helps facilities contractors support attendance claims and answer client questions about missed visits.
